The Shocker (Al-Qaare'ah)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Quraish (Quraish) before Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah)
In the name of God, The Most Gracious, The Dispenser of Grace
The (Day) of Noise and Clamour: 1 What is the Clatterer? 2 And what have you understood, what the event that terrifies the hearts is! 3 The day on which men shall be as scattered moths, 4 and the mountains shall be like fluffs of carded wool in varying colours. 5 Then he whose scales weigh heavier 6 Will be in a life of good pleasure and satisfaction. 7 whereas he whose weight is light in the balance 8 He will have his home in Hawiyah (pit, i.e. Hell). 9 Would that you knew what hawiya his? 10 A fire hotly burning! 11
True are the words of God the Almighty.
End of Surah: The Shocker (Al-Qaare'ah). Sent down in Mecca after Quraish (Quraish) before Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah)
