O you who believe, seek courage in fortitude and prayer, for God is with those who are patient and persevere. 153 And do not say of those who are slain in the way of Allah, "they are dead." In fact, they are alive but you do not perceive that life. 154 And We will most certainly try you with somewhat of fear and hunger and loss of property and lives and fruits; and give good news to the patient, 155 Who, when there afflicteth them an affliction, say: verily we are Allah's, and verily unto Him we are returners. 156 upon those rest blessings and mercy from their Lord, and those -- they are the truly guided. 157 ۞ Surely the Safa and the Marwa are among the signs appointed by Allah; so whoever makes a pilgrimage to the House or pays a visit (to it), there is no blame on him if he goes round them both; and whoever does good spontaneously, then surely Allah is Grateful, Knowing. 158 Lo! Those who hide the proofs and the guidance which We revealed, after We had made it clear to mankind in the Scripture: such are accursed of Allah and accursed of those who have the power to curse. 159 But those who repent and reform and proclaim (the truth), are forgiven, for I am forgiving and merciful. 160 Indeed, those who disbelieve and die while they are disbelievers - upon them will be the curse of Allah and of the angels and the people, all together, 161 They will remain in it forever; neither will the punishment be lightened for them, nor will they be given respite. 162 Your God is One God. There is no god except He. He is the Merciful, the Most Merciful. 163
