In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful
By those [angels] lined up in rows 1 And those who drive [the clouds] 2 and those who recite the Exhortation; 3 Indeed, your God is One, 4 Lord of the heavens and the earth and everything between them; Lord of the Easts. 5 Surely We have adorned the nearest heaven with an adornment, the stars, 6 a protection against every rebel satan; 7 The devils cannot hear those high above. They would be struck from all sides 8 cast out [from all grace,] with lasting suffering in store for them [in the life to come]; 9 Save him who snatcheth a fragment, and there pursueth him a piercing flame. 10 So ask them if they are more difficult to create, or the rest We have created? Indeed (man) We created from fermented clay. 11 (Muhammad), you will be surprised that they still mock (God's revelations). 12 When they are reminded, they do not remember. 13 When they are shown a sign, they scoff at it 14 saying, "This is plain sorcery!" 15 Is it ever possible that after we die and are reduced to dust and (a skeleton of) bones, we will be raised to life? 16 What, and our fathers, the ancients?' 17 You say: "Yes; and you will be lowly made." 18 It will be a single Zajrah [shout (i.e. the second blowing of the Trumpet)], and behold, they will be staring! 19 and will say: "Oh, woe unto us! This is the Day of Judgment!" 20 This is the Day of Decision which you belied. 21

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
