We also bestowed Our favour on Moses and Aaron: 114 And We delivered them and their people from (their) Great Calamity; 115 We helped them and they were victorious. 116 And We bestowed the clear Book to both of them. 117 and guided them upon the Straight Path. 118 And We kept their praise among the latter generations. 119 'Peace be upon Moses and, Aaron!' 120 Verily, thus do We reward the Muhsinun (good-doers - see V. 2:112). 121 Surely both of them were among Our believing servants. 122 So also was Elias among those sent (by Us). 123 Behold, he said to his people, "Will ye not fear (Allah)? 124 "Will ye call upon Baal and forsake the Best of Creators,- 125 "Allah, your Lord and the Lord of your forefathers?" 126 But they called him a liar, therefore they shall most surely be brought up. 127 except the sincere worshipers of Allah. 128 And We perpetuated to him (praise) among the later generations. 129 Peace be unto Elyasin. 130 Indeed, We thus reward the doers of good. 131 He was one of Our believing servants. 132 And verily Lut was of the sent ones. 133 When We saved him and his family, all, 134 except an old woman who was among those that stayed behind; 135 Then We annihilated the others. 136 and you pass by them in the morning 137 And at night; do you not then understand? 138
