The Human (Al-Insan)
31 verses, revealed in Medina after The All Compassionate (Al-Rahman) before Divorce (Al-Talaaq)
In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
There surely came over man a period of time when he was a thing not worth mentioning. 1 Indeed, We created man from a sperm-drop mixture that We may try him; and We made him hearing and seeing. 2 Indeed, We guided him to the way, be he grateful or be he ungrateful. 3 We have prepared for unbelievers chains and collars and a blazing fire. 4 Surely the righteous shall drink of a cup the admixture of which is camphor 5 From a spring of which the votaries of God will drink and make it flow in abundance. 6 They (are those who) fulfill (their) vows, and they fear a Day whose evil will be wide-spreading. 7 And they give food, inspite of their love for it (or for the love of Him), to Miskin (poor), the orphan, and the captive, 8 (saying): 'We feed you only desirous of the Face of Allah; we seek of you neither recompense nor thanks, 9 we fear from our Lord a Day that shall be long and distressful.” 10 So Allah saved them from the evil of that day, and gave them freshness and joy. 11 and their reward for being patient will be a Garden and silk [clothing]. 12 They will recline therein on couches and they will find neither excessive heat nor cold. 13 And near above them are its shades, and its [fruit] to be picked will be lowered in compliance. 14 And there shall be made to go round about them vessels of silver and goblets which are of glass, 15 Crystal-clear, made of silver. They will determine the measure thereof according to their wishes. 16 And they will be given to drink a cup [of wine] whose mixture is of ginger 17 therein a fountain whose name is called Salsabil. 18 ۞ They will be attended by youths who will not age -- when you see them you will think them to be like sprinkled pearls -- 19 When thou seest, thou wilt see there bliss and high estate. 20 they will wear green garments of fine silk and rich brocade. They will be adorned with silver bracelets. And their Lord will give them a pure drink. 21 This will be their reward and their efforts will be appreciated. 22

كيف تعمل منظومة تمارين الحفظ؟ عند أدنى مستوى 0، تكون كل الكلمات ظاهرة. بينما يُخفي أعلى مستوى 9 كل الكلمات. فكيف تعمل المستويات المتوسطة، مثل 3، على سبيل المثال؟ قد تعتقد بأن المنظومة تخفي 3 من كل تسع كلمات بدقة. ليس تماما! في المستوى 3، لكل كلمة فرصة اختفاء بنسبة 3 من 9، و6 من 9 لتكون ظاهرة. بمعنى آخر، من الممكن، ولكن باحتمال شبة معدوم، أن تكون جميع كلمات المستوى 3 مخفية، أو أن تكون جميعها ظاهرة! وكذلك أيضًا، ففي المستويات المتوسطة، وبما يتناسب مع مستوى الصعوبة، يمكن أن تكون المخابئ غير كاملة أو شفافة جزئيًا بحيث تظهر الكلمات جزئيًا تحتها.
How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
