▼ 79 The Snatchers
Al-Naze'aat 2 of 2
Are ye harder to create or the heaven which He hath builded? 27 He raised the height thereof and ordered it; 28 Its night doth He endow with darkness, and its splendour doth He bring out (with light). 29 And after it spread out the earth. 30 And he brought forth therefrom its water, and its pasture. 31 And He made fast the hills, 32 an enjoyment for you and your flocks. 33 So when the greatest universal disaster arrives, 34 The Day whereon man shall remember whatsoever he had striven for. 35 and when Hell is advanced for whoever sees, 36 Then he who had been rebellious 37 and preferred the life of this world, 38 Will surely have Hell for his abode. 39 But as for him who feared the Station of his Lord and forbade the soul its caprice, 40 Their abode will be the Garden. 41 They ask thee of the Hour: when will it come to port? 42 About what! You are one to remind of it. 43 With thy Lord is the Limit fixed therefore. 44 Thou art but a warner unto him who feareth. 45 On the Day they see it, they will feel as though they had stayed (in the grave) no more than one evening or one morning. 46

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
