The All High (Al-A'alaa)
19 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Rolling (Al-Takweer) before The Night (Al-Layl)
In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful
۞ Proclaim the Purity of your Lord, the Supreme. 1 Who has created (everything), and then proportioned it; 2 Who determined and guided them, 3 who brings forth green pasture, 4 and then made it into a blackish straw. 5 We shall make you recite and then you will not forget, 6 save what God wills; surely He knows what is spoken aloud and what is hidden. 7 We shall take you slowly towards ease. 8 Therefor remind (men), for of use is the reminder. 9 He who fears (Allah) shall heed it, 10 but it will be ignored by the most unfortunate, 11 even he who shall roast in the Great Fire, 12 in which he will neither die nor live therein. 13 He has certainly succeeded who purifies himself 14 And remembereth the name of his Lord, so prayeth, 15 However, (the disbelievers) prefer the worldly life 16 While the hereafter is better and more lasting. 17 And this is in the Books of the earliest (Revelation),- 18 Writs of Ibrahim and Musa. 19
True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
End of Surah: The All High (Al-A'alaa). Sent down in Mecca after The Rolling (Al-Takweer) before The Night (Al-Layl)
