Blessed is He Who made the constellations in the heavens and made therein a lamp and a shining moon. 61 And it is He who has made the night and the day in succession for whoever desires to remember or desires gratitude. 62 The true servants of the Gracious One are those who walk upon the earth with humility and when they are addressed by the ignorant ones, their response is, "Peace"; 63 And those who spend the night before their Lord, prostrate and standing. 64 And they who say: O our Lord! turn away from us the punishment of hell, surely the punishment thereof is a lasting 65 verily, how evil an abode and a station!"; 66 And they who when they spend, are neither extravagant nor parsimonious, and (keep) between these the just mean. 67 And those who invoke not any other ilah (god) along with Allah, nor kill such life as Allah has forbidden, except for just cause, nor commit illegal sexual intercourse and whoever does this shall receive the punishment. 68 he shall have his suffering doubled on the Day of Resurrection and he will abide forever in disgrace, 69 except the one who may have repented (after those sins) and have believed and done righteous works, for then Allah will change his evil deeds into good deeds, and He is very Forgiving and Merciful. 70 He who repents and does good deeds has truly turned to God. 71 And they who do not bear witness to what is false, and when they pass by what is vain, they pass by nobly. 72 who do not behave like the blind and the deaf, when the Revelations of their Lord are recited to them for admonition; 73 Those who say: 'Lord give us of our wives and children what pleases our eyes and make us leaders to the fearful' 74 Those shall be recompensed with the highest rank for their patience. There they shall receive a greeting, and peace! 75 therein to abide: [and] how goodly an abode and [how high] a station! 76 Say, "What would my Lord care for you if not for your supplication?" For you [disbelievers] have denied, so your denial is going to be adherent. 77
