SAY: "Call upon those [beings] whom you imagine [to be endowed with divine powers] beside God: they have not an atom's weight of power either in the heavens or on earth, nor have they any share in [governing] either, nor does He [choose to] have any helper from among them." 22 lntercession with Him profiteth not save the intercession of him whom He giveth leave. They hold their peace until when fright is taken off from their hearts, they say: What is it that your Lord hath said? They say: the very truth. And He is the Exalted, the Great. 23 ۞ Say (O Muhammad SAW to these polytheists, pagans, etc.) "Who gives you provision from the heavens and the earth?" Say: "Allah, And verily, (either) we or you are rightly guided or in a plain error." 24 Say thou: ye will not be questioned about that which we have committed, nor shall we be questioned about that which ye work. 25 Tell them, "Our Lord will gather us together; then He will judge between us with truth and justice. He is the Just Decider, the All Knowing." 26 Say, "Show me those whom you have related to God as His partner. He is too Exalted to have any partners. He is the Majestic and All-wise God." 27 And We have not sent you but to all the men as a bearer of good news and as a warner, but most men do not know. 28 Instead they say: "When is this promise going to be, if you speak the truth?" 29 Say: "The appointment to you is for a Day, which ye cannot put back for an hour nor put forward." 30
