The All High (Al-A'alaa)
Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
۞ EXTOL the limitless glory of thy Sustainer's name: [the glory of] the Al-Highest, 1 who created all things and gave them due proportions, 2 who determined and guided, 3 It is He who has caused the grass to grow, 4 And then doth make it (but) swarthy stubble. 5 We shall make thee recite, to forget not 6 Save that which Allah willeth. Lo! He knoweth the disclosed and that which still is hidden; 7 and [thus] shall We make easy for thee the path towards [ultimate] ease. 8 Wherefore admonish thou; admonition hath surely profited, 9 He who fears will mind, 10 But it will be avoided by the wretched, 11 who will roast in the Great Fire, 12 Wherein he will neither die nor live. 13 He has certainly succeeded who purifies himself 14 remembering his Lord's name and praying. 15 But you prefer the worldly life, 16 But the Hereafter is better and more enduring. 17 Most surely this is in the earlier scriptures, 18 In the Books of Ibrahim and Moosa. 19
