Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)

8 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa) before The Afternoon (Al-'Asr)

In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful

۞ HAVE WE NOT opened up thy heart, 1 And relieve you of the burden – 2 Which pressed heavily upon your back, 3 And did We not exalt your fame? 4 And behold, with every hardship comes ease: 5 Indeed with hardship is ease. 6 When you are free from (your obligations), strive hard (to worship God) 7 And strive to please thy Lord. 8

True are the words of God the Almighty.
