The Galaxies (Al-Burooj)
In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful
I swear by the mansions of the stars, 1 And by the Promised Day. 2 and by the witness (Muhammad) and that which is witnessed (the Day of Judgment), 3 The companions of the pit were killed 4 Fire supplied (abundantly) with fuel, 5 When they sat by it (fire), 6 And to that which they did to the believers were witnesses. 7 They had nothing against them, except that they believed in Allah, the All-Mighty, Worthy of all Praise! 8 and the One to whom belongs the heavens and the earth. God is the Witness of all things. 9 Surely for those who persecute believers, men and women, and do not repent afterwards, is the punishment of Hell, and the punishment of burning. 10 Lo! those who believe and do good works, theirs will be Gardens underneath which rivers flow. That is the Great Success. 11 Surely thy Lord's assault is terrible. 12 Surely it is He who originates, and brings again, 13 And He is Oft-Forgiving, full of love (towards the pious who are real true believers of Islamic Monotheism), 14 Lord of the Throne, the All-glorious, 15 Always doing whatever He wills. 16 Has there reached you the story of the soldiers - 17 of Pharaoh and of Thamood? 18 Yet the infidels persist in denial. 19 And Allah encompasses them from behind! (i.e. all their deeds are within His Knowledge, and He will requite them for their deeds). 20 Nay; but this is a glorious Qur'an, 21 in a Guarded Tablet. 22
