The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)

In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate

I CALL TO witness the chargers, snorting, rushing to battle before the others, 1 And striking off fire by dashing their hoofs. 2 rushing to assault at morn, 3 And therein raising dust. 4 Then rush thereby upon an assembly: 5 Verily man is most ungrateful to his Lord; 6 And to that (fact) he bears witness (by his deeds); 7 And most surely he is tenacious in the love of wealth. 8 ۞ Does he not then know when what is in the graves is raised, 9 And that within the breasts is obtained, 10 Surely on that Day will their Lord be fully informed about them. 11
