The Shocker (Al-Qaare'ah)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Quraish (Quraish) before Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah)

In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful

The Calamity! 1 What is the startling calamity? 2 And what can make you know what is the Striking Calamity? 3 A Day on which human beings would be like so many scattered moths, 4 and the mountains shall be like fluffs of carded wool in varying colours. 5 Then as for one whose scales are heavy [with good deeds], 6 will live a pleasant life, 7 But as for him whose balance (of good deeds) will be light, 8 He is in the lap of one that abases. 9 Ah, what will convey unto thee what she is! - 10 (It is) a Fire which is extremely hot. 11

God Almighty has spoken the truth.
