We sent Noah to his people. He said, "O my people, worship God; you have no other god but He. I fear for you the punishment of a dreadful Day," 59 Said the eminent among his people, "Indeed, we see you in clear error." 60 'I am not in error, my nation' he replied. 'I am a Messenger from the Lord of the Worlds 61 I am conveying my Lord's messages to you and giving you sincere advice. I know things from God that you do not. 62 What! do you wonder that a reminder has come to you from your Lord through a man from among you, that he might warn you and that you might guard (against evil) and so that mercy may be shown to you? 63 But they denied him, so We saved him and those with him in the Ark, and We drowned those who rejected Our signs. They were indeed a blind people. 64
