And it is He Who has created ears and eyes and hearts for you; very little is the right you acknowledge. 78 It is God who has settled you on the earth and before Him you will all be assembled. 79 And He it is who grants life and deals death; and to Him is due the alternation of night and day. Will you not, then, use your reason? 80 Nay, they say the like of what the ancients said: 81 They say: When we are dead and have become (mere) dust and bones, shall we then, forsooth, be raised again? 82 Indeed, this [very thing] we have been promised - we and our forefathers - long ago! This is nothing but fables of ancient times!" 83 Say: "To whom does the earth and whosoever is upon it then belong, if you know?" 84 They will say, "To Allah." Say, "Then will you not remember?" 85 Ask them, "Who is the Lord of the seven heavens and the Great Throne?" 86 They will say, "[They belong] to Allah." Say, "Then will you not fear Him?" 87 Say, "In whose hands lies sovereignty over all things, protecting all, while none can seek protection against Him? Tell me, if you have any knowledge." 88 They will say: "(All that belongs) to Allah." Say: "How then are you deceived and turn away from the truth?" 89 Nay! We have brought to them the truth, and most surely they are liars. 90 God has not taken to Himself a son, nor is there any other deity besides Him; otherwise, each god would have walked away with what he had created. They would surely have tried to overcome one another. Glory be to God, above all that they ascribe to Him. 91 He has the knowledge of all seen and unseen things. He is too exalted to be considered equal to anything else. 92
