Say: 'I am only a warner. There is not any god but God, the One, the Omnipotent, 65 Lord of the heavens and earth and everything between them, the Almighty, the Most Forgiving." 66 Say, "This is momentous news, 67 "From which you turn away! 68 [Say, O Muhammad:] "No knowledge would I have had of [what passed among] the host on high when they argued [against the creation of man,] 69 This alone is revealed to me, that I am only a clear warner.' 70 When your Lord said to the angels: 'I am creating a human from clay, 71 after I have shaped him and breathed of My spirit (I created) into him, fall down prostrate before him' 72 The angels fell down prostrate, every one, 73 but not Satan, who was too proud. He became one of those who deny the truth. 74 He said: O Iblis! what prevented you that you should do obeisance to him whom I created with My two hands? Are you proud or are you of the exalted ones? 75 He said: I am better than he; Thou hast created me of fire, and him Thou didst create of dust. 76 (Allah) said: "Then get thee out from here: for thou art rejected, accursed. 77 Upon thee shall rest My curse, till the Day of Doom.' 78 He said: My Lord! then respite me to the day that they are raised. 79 (Allah) said: "Verily! You are of those allowed respite 80 until the day of the known time.' 81 He said, "By Your Glory, I shall seduce all of them (children of Adam). 82 Except, among them, Your chosen servants." 83 The Lord said, "I swear by the Truth - and I speak the Truth - 84 That I shall fill Hell with thee and such of them as shall follow thee, all together. 85 Say (O Muhammad, unto mankind): I ask of you no fee for this, and I am no simulating. 86 It is nothing but a reminder unto all beings, 87 You will come to know its truth in time." 88
