The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful
۞ Exalt the Name of your Lord, the Highest, 1 who created and shaped, 2 decreed their destinies, and provided them with guidance. 3 and who brings forth herbage, 4 then made it dry dark, flaky stubble, 5 We shall make thee recite, to forget not 6 Except what Allah, may will, He knows what is apparent and what is hidden. 7 And We shall create the means of ease for you. 8 So remind, if the reminder should benefit; 9 Those who have fear of God will benefit 10 But the most hapless will flout it, 11 Who will enter the Great Fire, 12 then he shall neither die therein, nor live. 13 He who purified himself shall prosper, 14 And mentions the name of his Lord and prays. 15 But no, you prefer the life of the world, 16 whereas the Hereafter is better and more enduring. 17 Surely, this is in the ancient Scrolls, 18 The Books of Abraham and Moses. 19
