Al-Dukhaan 3 of 3
The food of the Zakkum tree 43 shall be the food of the sinful. 44 Like molten brass, it seetheth in their bellies 45 As the seething of boiling water. 46 'Seize him and drag him into the center of Hell. 47 Then pour upon his head the torment of boiling water. 48 They will be told, "Suffer the torment. You had thought yourselves to be majestic and honorable. 49 This is certainly what you had denied." 50 Surely the godfearing shall be in a station secure 51 In the midst of gardens and of springs, 52 Attired in silk and brocade, they shall be arrayed face to face. 53 Thus shall it be. And We shall pair them with companions pure, most beautiful of eye. 54 In it they will ask for all kinds of fruit, with safety. 55 They taste not death therein, save the first death. And He hath saved them from the doom of hell, 56 as an act of grace. That will be the supreme triumph. 57 Certainly, We have made this (Quran) easy in your tongue, in order that they may remember. 58 Therefore wait; surely they are waiting. 59

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
