O ye who believe! Devour not usury, doubled and multiplied; but fear Allah; that ye may (really) prosper. 130 Keep away from the Fire prepared for the infidels; 131 Obey God and the Prophet, that you may be treated with mercy. 132 ۞ And hasten to forgiveness from your Lord; and a Garden, the extensiveness of which is (as) the heavens and the earth, it is prepared for those who guard (against evil). 133 Those who spend in Allah’s cause, in happiness and in grief, and who control their anger and are forgiving towards mankind; and the righteous are the beloved of Allah. 134 And those who when they commit an indecency or do injustice to their souls remember Allah and ask forgiveness for their faults-- and who forgives the faults but Allah, and (who) do not knowingly persist in what they have done. 135 Their recompense is pardon by their Lord, and gardens with streams of running water where they will abide for ever. How fair is the recompense of those who act! 136 There have been examples before you. Journey in the land and see what was the fate of the liars. 137 This is a clear declaration for mankind, and a guidance and a warning for those who preserve themselves from evil. 138 Faint not, neither sorrow; you shall be the upper ones if you are believers. 139 If a wound touches you, a like wound already has touched the heathen; such days We deal out in turn among men, and that God may know who are the believers, and that He may take witnesses from among you; and God loves not the evildoers; 140 And that Allah may purify the believers [through trials] and destroy the disbelievers. 141 Do you think you will go to Paradise while God does not know who among you strive and persist? 142 You were longing for death before you met it; now you have seen it, while you were beholding. 143
