Q (Qaaf)
In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate
Qaf. By the glorious Quran! 1 Nay! they wonder that there has come to them a warner from among themselves, so the unbelievers say: This is a wonderful thing: 2 What! when we are dead and have become dust? That is afar (from probable) return. 3 We know indeed what the earth diminishes of them, and with Us is a writing that preserves. 4 In fact, they have rejected the truth that has come to them, thus, they live in confusion. 5 What, have they not beheld heaven above them, how We have built it, and decked it out fair, and it has no cracks? 6 And the earth- We have spread it out, and set thereon mountains standing firm, and produced therein every kind of beautiful growth (in pairs)- 7 as a lesson and reminder for every human being who turns to God; 8 And We send down from the cloud water abounding in good, then We cause to grow thereby gardens and the grain that is reaped, 9 And lofty palm trees having fruit arranged in layers - 10 As sustenance for the bondmen; and with it We revived a dead city; this is how you will be raised. 11 [Long] before those [who now deny resurrection] did Noah's people give the lie to this truth, and [so did] the folk of Ar-Rass, and [the tribes of] Thamud 12 and so did 'Ad, and Pharaoh and Lot's brethren, 13 And the Dwellers of the Woods, and the people of Tubb’a; each one of them denied the Noble Messengers, so My promised punishment proved true. 14 What, were We wearied by the first creation? No indeed; but they are in uncertainty as to the new creation. 15
