No, by the moon! 32 And [by] the night when it departs 33 And [by] the morning when it brightens, 34 Verily it is one of the greatest woes. 35 It is a warning for mankind 36 Whoever of you desires to progress or lag behind. 37 Every soul will be in captivity for its deeds 38 Except the people of the right hand, 39 who in their gardens will be enquiring 40 Concerning the culprits: 41 "what led you into hell?" 42 They said, “We never used to offer the prayer.” 43 And did not feed the needy, 44 "And we used to talk falsehood (all that which Allah hated) with vain talkers. 45 and the Day of Judgment we were wont to call a lie 46 Till the Inevitable came unto us. 47 So, the intercession of intercessors will not avail them. 48 If such will be the Day of Judgment, what is the matter with them? Why do they run away from guidance, 49 as though they were terrified asses 50 Fleeing from a hunter, or a lion, or a beast of prey. 51 Nay, everyone of them desires that he should be given pages spread out (coming from Allah with a writing that Islam is the right religion, and Muhammad SAW has come with the truth from Allah the Lord of the heavens and earth, etc.). 52 Nay! but they do not fear the hereafter. 53 No indeed; surely it is a Reminder; 54 Let him who will take heed: 55 And they will not remember except that Allah wills. He is worthy of fear and adequate for [granting] forgiveness. 56
