The people of Noah rejected the messengers. 105 when Noah, their brother, said to them: 'Will you not be cautious? 106 "I am a trustworthy Messenger to you. 107 So keep your duty to Allah, and obey me. 108 I ask no payment from you for my preaching. The Lord of the Universe will give me my reward. 109 So fear Allah and obey me. 110 ۞ They said: Shall we put faith in thee, when the lowest (of the people) follow thee? 111 He said, 'What knowledge have I of that they have been doing? 112 It is only for my Lord to take account of them. Would that you made use of your understanding! 113 And I am not to drive away the believers. 114 I am only a plain admonisher." 115 They said: "O Noah! If you do not desist, you will certainly become one of the accursed." 116 He said: My Lord! Surely my people give me the lie! 117 therefore, judge decisively between me and them; and save me and the believers who are with me." 118 So We delivered him, and those with him, in the laden ship, 119 and then We caused those who stayed behind to drown. 120 Indeed in this is a sign; and most of them were not believers. 121 But surely your Lord is mighty and merciful. 122
