Al-Aadeyaat
The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
By the (steeds) that run, with panting (breath), 1 Striking stones with their hooves, sparking fire. 2 by the dawnraiders, 3 blazing a trail of dust, 4 dividing the gathering. 5 Lo! man is an ingrate unto his Lord 6 and he himself is a witness to that, 7 And violent is he in his love of wealth. 8 ۞ Knows he not that when that which is in the tombs is over-thrown, 9 And that which is (locked up) in (human) breasts is made manifest- 10 Most surely their Lord that day shall be fully aware of them. 11
Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
