(Thereafter) We settled the Children of Israel in a blessed land and provided them with good things. They did not differ until knowledge was given them. Indeed, your Lord will decide between them on the Day of Resurrection. 93 If thou wert in doubt as to what We have revealed unto thee, then ask those who have been reading the Book from before thee: the Truth hath indeed come to thee from thy Lord: so be in no wise of those in doubt. 94 Do not be among those who belie the verses of Allah, for then you would be among the losers. 95 Verily those on whom the word of thy Lord hath been justified shall not believe. 96 Even if every sign should come to them, - until they see the painful torment. 97 Why did no one except the people of Jonah believe (in their punishment before their death) so that they could have benefitted from their faith? When the people of Jonah believed, We saved them from a disgraceful torment in this life and provided them with the means of enjoyment for an appointed time. 98 And had your Lord willed, those on earth would have believed, all of them together. So, will you (O Muhammad SAW) then compel mankind, until they become believers. 99 And it is not for a soul to believe except by permission of Allah, and He will place defilement upon those who will not use reason. 100 Say: 'Behold what is in the heavens and in the earth!' But neither signs nor warnings avail a people who do not believe. 101 Can such, then, expect anything else [to befall them] but the like of the days of [calamity which befell] those [deniers of the truth] who passed away before them? Say: "Wait, then, [for what will happen] verily, I shall wait with you!" 102 Then shall We save Our messengers and the believers, in like manner (as of old). It is incumbent upon Us to save believers. 103
