Q (Qaaf)
In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful
Qaf. By the glorious Quran! 1 No, but they marvel that from among themselves a warner has come to them. The unbelievers say (in mockery): 'This is a marvelous thing! 2 What, when we are dead and turned to dust? That indeed would be an unlikely return' 3 We know indeed what the earth diminishes of them, and with Us is a writing that preserves. 4 Nay, but they have denied the truth when it came unto them, therefor they are now in troubled case. 5 Did they never observe the sky above them: how We built it and beautified it; and it has no cracks; 6 And the earth, We have made it plain and cast in it mountains and We have made to grow therein of all beautiful kinds, 7 As instruction and reminder to every penitent creature. 8 And We send down from the sky rain charted with blessing, and We produce therewith gardens and Grain for harvests; 9 and tall palm-trees with their thickly-clustered dates, 10 A sustenance for the servants, and We give life thereby to a dead land; thus is the rising. 11 In the past Noah's people, and the people of Rass and Thamud gave the lie (to Messengers), 12 And (the tribe of) A'ad, and Pharaoh, and the brethren of Lot, 13 And the Dwellers of the Woods, and the people of Tubb’a; each one of them denied the Noble Messengers, so My promised punishment proved true. 14 Were We then tired with the first creation? Nay, They are in confused doubt about a new creation (i.e. Resurrection)? 15
