HAST THOU, then, ever considered him who turns away [from remembering Us, and cares for no more than the life of this world,] 33 And gave a little, then stopped (giving)? 34 Does he have knowledge of the unseen, so he sees? 35 Or has he never yet been told of what was [said] in the revelations of Moses, 36 and of Abraham, who to his trust was true: 37 “That no bearer of a burden shall bear the burden of another, 38 And that man will not obtain anything except what he strove for? 39 and that (the result of) his striving shall soon be seen, 40 and in the end he will be repaid for it in full; 41 And that unto thy Lord is the goal. 42 It is He who causes laughter and weeping. 43 And that He it is Who causes death and gives life- 44 and that it is He who created pairs, the male and the female, 45 From the small seed when it is adapted 46 And that on Him is the bringing forth a second time; 47 And that He it is Who enriches and gives to hold; 48 That He is the Lord of Sirius (the Mighty Star); 49 It is He who utterly destroyed the ancient tribes of Ad, 50 And the Thamud nor gave them a lease of perpetual life. 51 and the people of Noah before -- certainly they did exceeding evil, and were insolent 52 And the subverted cities He overthrew. 53 and then covered them from sight forever. 54 On which then of your Lord's signs do you cast doubt? 55 This is a warning among the warnings of yore. 56 that [Last Hour] which is so near draws ever nearer, 57 [although] none but God can unveil it.... 58 Do ye then wonder at this recital? 59 And keep laughing and do not weep, 60 While you are indulging in varieties. 61 Bow instead in adoration before God and worship Him. ۩ 62
Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
