The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful
۞ Glorify the name of your Lord, the Most High, 1 Who creates and proportions, 2 And Who makes (things) according to a measure, then guides (them to their goal), 3 And Who brings out the pasturage, 4 then turns it into black stubble. 5 We will make you recite, [O Muhammad], and you will not forget, 6 Except what Allah wills; indeed He knows all the evident and all the concealed. 7 We shall ease thee unto the Easing. 8 Remind, if the reminder can be of benefit. 9 Soon whoever fears will heed advice. 10 And the most wicked will stay away from it. 11 [He] who will [enter and] burn in the greatest Fire, 12 Then he will neither die in it, nor live. 13 Prosperous is he who has cleansed himself, 14 And remembers (glorifies) the Name of his Lord (worships none but Allah), and prays (five compulsory prayers and Nawafil additional prayers). 15 But you prefer the worldly life, 16 but the Everlasting Life is better, and more enduring. 17 And this is in the Books of the earliest (Revelation),- 18 The Books of Abraham and Moses. 19
