The Quake (Al-Zalzalah)

8 verses, revealed in Medina after Women (Al-Nesaa) before Iron (Al-Hadeed)

In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate

When Earth is shaken with her (final) earthquake 1 And the earth throws up her burdens (from within), 2 and man cries out, "What has happened to her?" 3 That day she will relate her chronicles, 4 Because thy Lord inspireth her. 5 On that day men shall come forth in sundry bodies that they may be shown their works. 6 And whoso doeth good an atom's weight will see it then, 7 and whoever does an atom's weight of evil shall see it. 8

True are the words of God the Almighty.
