1/4 Hizb 45
< random >
The trumpet shall be sounded, when behold! from the sepulchres (men) will rush forth to their Lord! 51 Crying: Woe upon us! Who hath raised us from our place of sleep? This is that which the Beneficent did promise, and the messengers spoke truth. 52 It will be no more than a single Blast, when lo! they will all be brought up before Us! 53 This day no soul is wronged in aught; nor are ye requited aught save what ye used to do. 54 Surely the dwellers of the garden shall on that day be in an occupation quite happy. 55 in happiness will they and their spouses on couches recline; 56 In it (paradise) are fruits for them and whatever they ask for. 57 “Peace” shall be the word conveyed to them from their Merciful Lord. 58 But avaunt ye, O ye guilty, this day! 59 ۞ Made I not covenant with you, Children of Adam, that you should not serve Satan -- surely he is a manifest foe to you -- 60 Did We not command you to worship Me and tell you that this is the straight path?" 61 And he had already led astray from among you much of creation, so did you not use reason? 62 “This is hell, which you were promised.” 63 Roast well therein this Day for you were unbelievers' 64 This day We will set a seal on their mouths, and their hands will speak out to Us and their feet will bear witness to their deeds. 65 And if We willed, We could have obliterated their eyes, and they would race to [find] the path, and how could they see? 66 And if We willed, We could have deformed them, [paralyzing them] in their places so they would not be able to proceed, nor could they return. 67

قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
