3/4 Hizb 45
< random >
Noah had verily called to Us. And how gracious was He who answered (him). 75 And We delivered him and his people from the great affliction. 76 and We made his offspring the survivors. 77 We left mention of him among later generations. 78 Peace on Noah among all men. 79 This is how We reward the virtuous. 80 Indeed, he was of Our believing servants. 81 We drowned the rest. 82 ۞ And Abraham indeed was of his inducement, 83 when he came unto his Lord with a pure heart, 84 when he said to his father and his folk, 'What do you serve? 85 “What! You desire, through fabrication, Gods other than Allah?” 86 What do you think of the Lord of the Worlds?" 87 The people invited him to attend their feast). Then he looked at the stars 88 He then said, “I feel sick (of you)!” 89 so they turned their backs on him and went off. 90 Then did he turn to their gods and said, "will ye not eat (of the offerings before you)?... 91 What aileth you that ye speak not? 92 then he turned on them, striking them down with his right hand. 93 Thereafter they (the people) came to him in haste. 94 He said, "Do you worship that which you [yourselves] carve, 95 "While Allah has created you and what you make!" 96 They spoke among themselves: “Build him a pyre and then throw him into the furnace.” 97 So they contrived a plot against him, but We made them abject. 98 And [Abraham] said: "Verily, I shall [leave this land and] go wherever my Sustainer will guide me!" 99 My Lord, give me one of the righteous.' 100 So We gave him tidings of a gentle son. 101 And, when he (his son) was old enough to walk with him, he said: "O my son! I have seen in a dream that I am slaughtering you (offer you in sacrifice to Allah), so look what you think!" He said: "O my father! Do that which you are commanded, Insha' Allah (if Allah will), you shall find me of As-Sabirin (the patient ones, etc.)." 102 Then when the twain had submitted themselves and he had prostrated him upon his temple. 103 And We called out to him saying: O Ibrahim! 104 You have fulfilled your dream." Thus do We reward the good. 105 Verily, that indeed was a manifest trial 106 And We ransomed him with a great sacrifice (i.e. a ram); 107 and We preserved for him a good name among posterity. 108 Peace be on Abraham. 109 Thus, do We reward the righteous ones. 110 Indeed, he was of Our believing servants. 111 We gave Abraham the good news of Isaac, a prophet and a righteous man, 112 And We sent blessings upon him and Ishaq; and among their descendants some who do good deeds, and some who clearly wrong themselves. 113
