Thorns (Al-Masad)

5 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Key (Al-Faatehah) before The Rolling (Al-Takweer)

In the name of God, The Most Gracious, The Dispenser of Grace

DESTROYED WILL BE the hands of Abu Lahab, and he himself will perish. 1 His wealth avails him not, neither what he has earned; 2 he shall roast at a Flaming Fire, 3 And his wife [as well] - the carrier of firewood. 4 [who bears] around her neck a rope of twisted strands! 5

God the Almighty always says the truth.
