Say: 'God suffices as a witness between me and you.' He knows whatsoever is in the heavens and earth. Those who believe in vanity and disbelieve in God -- those, they are the losers. 52 They want you to hasten the punishment: But for a time already determined the punishment would have come upon them. It will come upon them all too suddenly, and they will be caught unawares. 53 They demand of thee to hasten the chastisement! Lo, Gehenna encompasses the unbelievers. 54 The day the punishment comes upon them from above and underneath their feet, (God will) say: "And now taste of what you had done." 55 O My creatures who believe, surely My earth has plenty of scope and so worship only Me. 56 Every soul shall taste of death; then unto Us you shall be returned. 57 Those who believe and do good works, them verily We shall house in lofty dwellings of the Garden underneath which rivers flow. There they will dwell secure. How sweet the guerdon of the toilers, 58 who have exercised patience and who have had trust in their Lord. 59 How many living things there are on the earth that do not Store their food; God provides them as well as you. He is all-hearing and all-knowing. 60 If you were to ask them: “Who created the heavens and the earth and Who has kept the sun and the moon in subjection?” they will certainly say: “Allah.” How come, then, they are being deluded from the Truth? 61 Allah expandeth provision for whomsoever He will of His bondmen and stinteth it for him. Verily Allah is of everything the Knower. 62 And if you ask them who it is that sends down water from the sky and revives the earth with it after its death, they will surely answer, "God." Then praise be to God. But most of them do not understand. 63
