We were indeed gracious to Moses and Aaron, 114 We saved them and their people from great distress; 115 And We succoured them so that they became overcomers. 116 And We bestowed the clear Book to both of them. 117 And showed them the right path. 118 and left for them among the later folk 119 Peace be upon Moosa and Haroon! 120 That is how We reward those who do good. 121 Indeed they are two of Our high ranking, firmly believing bondmen. 122 So also was Elias among those sent (by Us). 123 Recall what time he said unto his people: fear ye not? 124 "Will you call upon Ba'l (a well- known idol of his nation whom they used to worship) and forsake the Best of creators, 125 Allah, your Lord and the Lord of your fathers of yore? 126 But they belied him, so they will be among the arraigned (in Hell), 127 Except the chosen servants of Allah. 128 And We left for him (a goodly remembrance) among generations (to come) in later times; 129 'Peace be upon El Yaseen' 130 Verily We! thus We recompense the well-doers. 131 He is truly among Our faithful devotees. 132 And Lut was most surely of the apostles. 133 Behold, We delivered him and his adherents, all 134 Except an old woman who was one of those who stayed behind. 135 and We destroyed the others. 136 You pass by (their ruined town) in the morning 137 And at night. Will ye not therefore reflect? 138
