The Rolling (Al-Takweer)
29 verses, revealed in Mecca after Thorns (Al-Masad) before The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful
When the sun shall be darkened, 1 And when the stars fall, dispersing, 2 And when the mountains shall be made to pass away, 3 And when the pregnant she-camels shall be neglected; 4 And when the wild beasts are herded together, 5 the oceans are brought to a boil, 6 when the souls are coupled (to their body), 7 when the buried infant shall be asked 8 For what sin she was killed, 9 When the scrolls are laid open; 10 And when the heaven shall be stripped, 11 When the Blazing Fire is kindled to fierce heat; 12 And when Paradise shall be brought near, 13 Every soul will then come know what it has brought. 14 So by oath of those that revolve. (The planets.) 15 that hide, 16 and sit during the day, or by the darkening night 17 And the morning when it brightens, 18 truly this is the word of a noble Messenger 19 Endued with Power, with rank before the Lord of the Throne, 20 obeyed, moreover trusty. 21 Your companion is not mad. 22 he truly beheld [the angel - beheld] him on the clear horizon; 23 He is not chary of making public what is unknown. 24 Nor is this the word of a stoned satan. 25 When whither go ye? 26 This is naught else than a reminder unto creation, 27 for everyone of you who wishes to follow the Straight Way; 28 And ye shall not will unless it be that Allah, the Lord of the worlds, willeth. 29

كيف تعمل منظومة تمارين الحفظ؟ عند أدنى مستوى 0، تكون كل الكلمات ظاهرة. بينما يُخفي أعلى مستوى 9 كل الكلمات. فكيف تعمل المستويات المتوسطة، مثل 3، على سبيل المثال؟ قد تعتقد بأن المنظومة تخفي 3 من كل تسع كلمات بدقة. ليس تماما! في المستوى 3، لكل كلمة فرصة اختفاء بنسبة 3 من 9، و6 من 9 لتكون ظاهرة. بمعنى آخر، من الممكن، ولكن باحتمال شبة معدوم، أن تكون جميع كلمات المستوى 3 مخفية، أو أن تكون جميعها ظاهرة! وكذلك أيضًا، ففي المستويات المتوسطة، وبما يتناسب مع مستوى الصعوبة، يمكن أن تكون المخابئ غير كاملة أو شفافة جزئيًا بحيث تظهر الكلمات جزئيًا تحتها.
How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
