In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
THE STARTLING CALAMITY. 1 What is the Striking Calamity? 2 And what have you understood, what the event that terrifies the hearts is! 3 The day on which men shall be as scattered moths, 4 and the mountains shall be like plucked wool-tufts. 5 So for one whose scales prove heavy, 6 shall live in a life which is pleasing, 7 And for one whose scales prove light, 8 shall plunge in the womb of the Pit. 9 How will you comprehend what that is? 10 It is a burning Fire. 11
True are the words of God the Almighty.
