Al-Hijjr 2 of 6

And indeed We created towers in the skies, and beautified it for the beholders. 16 and guarded them from every accursed Satan 17 Except one who steals a hearing and is pursued by a clear burning flame. 18 We have spread out the earth, and set upon it firm mountains and caused everything to grow in due proportion. 19 And created livelihoods for you in it, and created those for whom you do not provide the sustenance. 20 And there is not a thing the treasure* of which is not with Us; and We do not send it down except by a known measure. (* The power to create it.) 21 And We sent the winds that relieve the clouds’ burden, therefore caused water to descend from the sky, then give it to you to drink; and you are not at all its treasurers. 22 And certainly We! We it is Who give life, and cause death, and We are the Inheritors. 23 We know those of you who press forward, and We know the laggards, 24 And verily thy Lord! He will gather them, and verily He is Wise, Knowing. 25
