Al-Ankaboot 2 of 7

And assuredly We sent Nuh unto his people. Then he tarried among them for a thousand years, save fifty years; and then deluge overtook them, while they were wrong-doers. 14 But We saved him and those with him in the ark, and made it a sign for the creatures of the world. 15 And Abraham! (Remember) when he said unto his folk: Serve Allah, and keep your duty unto Him; that is better for you if ye did but know. 16 "For ye do worship idols besides Allah, and ye invent falsehood. The things that ye worship besides Allah have no power to give you sustenance: then seek ye sustenance from Allah, serve Him, and be grateful to Him: to Him will be your return. 17 But if ye deny, then nations have denied before you. The messenger is only to convey (the message) plainly. 18 Do they not see how Allah originates the Creation, and then brings it back? That is an easy matter for Allah. 19 Say: "Travel on the earth and see how He originated creation. Then (you will know) how God will raise the last raising (of the dead). Surely God has power over everything, 20 He chastises whom He will and forgives whom He will. To Him all of you will be sent back. 21 Ye cannot escape (from Him) in the earth or in the sky, and beside Allah there is for you no friend or helper. 22
