Verily, the tree of Zaqqum, 43 is food for the sinner. 44 like the dregs of oil, it shall boil in their bellies, 45 Like the boiling of scalding water. 46 Seize him, then drag him down into the middle of the hell; 47 "Then pour over his head the Penalty of Boiling Water, 48 Taste thou! thou art indeed mighty, honoured! 49 This is what you used to doubt.” 50 [As against this] verily, the God-conscious will find themselves in a state secure, 51 In Gardens and water-springs. 52 clothed in fine silk and rich brocade, sitting face to face with one another. 53 Thus shall it be: and We shall espouse them to fair, wide-eyed maidens. 54 They will call therein for every kind of fruit, in peace and security. 55 They will not taste death therein, except the first death; and He will preserve them from the torment of the Flaming Fire. 56 As a Bounty from thy Lord! that will be the supreme achievement! 57 So have We made it easy in your tongue that they may be mindful. 58 Wait then; they too are waiting. 59
