Nay, by the Moon 32 and by the night when it recedes, 33 And [by] the morning when it brightens, 34 surely it is one of the greatest things 35 a warning to humankind, 36 To any of you that chooses to go forward (by working righteous deeds), or to remain behind (by commiting sins), 37 Every soul will be (held) in pledge for its deeds. 38 save those who shall have attained to righteousness: 39 In gardens, they shall ask each other 40 About Al-Mujrimun (polytheists, criminals, disbelievers, etc.), (And they will say to them): 41 "What was it that brought you to Hell?" 42 They will say: we have not been of those who prayed. 43 nor did we feed the destitute. 44 and we were wont to indulge in sinning together with all [the others] who indulged in it; 45 "And we used to belie the Day of Recompense 46 Until the certainty (of death) had come upon us. 47 So the intercession of intercessors shall not avail them. 48 Why then do they turn away from the admonition 49 As if they were alarmed donkeys 50 fleeing from a lion? 51 Rather each one of them desires that he should be given open Books. 52 No! They do not fear the Hereafter -- 53 Nay; this is an Exhortation. 54 So, whoever wills may benefit from it. 55 But none will remember, unless Allah wills, He is the Owner of fear, the Owner of forgiveness. 56
Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
