The Sun (Al-Shams)
15 verses, revealed in Mecca after Destiny (Al-Qadr) before The Galaxies (Al-Burooj)
In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful
By the sun and his brightness, 1 and by the moon as it follows it, 2 Consider the day as it reveals the world, 3 And the night when it draws a veil over it, 4 And [by] the sky and He who constructed it 5 And [by] the earth and He who spread it 6 and by the soul and by Him Who perfectly proportioned it, 7 and inspired it with knowledge of evil and piety, 8 those who purify their souls will certainly have everlasting happiness 9 and failed is he who buried it! 10 The Thamud denied (the truth) in their perverseness 11 when the most corrupt of them incited them (to commit evil). 12 Then Allah's Messenger warned them: “Hands off the she-camel and her drink!” 13 However, they rejected him and slew her. So their Lord completely destroyed them and their city for their sins. 14 And He does not fear the consequence thereof. 15
Allah the Almighty always says the truth.

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
