Hoarding (Al-Takaathur)

8 verses, revealed in Mecca after Bounty (Al-Kawthar) before Charity (Al-Maa'oon)

In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate

Abundance diverts you, 1 Until you confronted the graves. 2 Nay! you shall soon know, 3 Again lo! presently ye shall know. 4 Nay, were ye to know with certainty of mind, (ye would beware!) 5 For ye will behold hell-fire. 6 Then you will see it with the eye of certainty. 7 then you shall be questioned that day concerning true bliss. 8

God the Almighty always says the truth.
