Hizb 38
< random >
The people of Noah accused the apostles of lies. 105 When their brother Noah said to them, "Will you have no fear of God? 106 "I am a trustworthy Messenger to you. 107 so serve you God, and obey you me. 108 I ask no recompense of you for it. My reward is due from none but the Lord of all the worlds. 109 "So keep your duty to Allah, fear Him and obey me." 110 ۞ They said, "Should we believe you while you are followed by the lowest [class of people]?" 111 He said: 'I have no knowledge of what they have done. 112 "Their account is only with my Lord, if you could (but) know. 113 Hence, I shall not drive away [any of] those [who profess to be] believers; 114 I am only a clear warner." 115 They said, "Noah, if you do not desist, you will, certainly, be stoned to death." 116 Noah said, "My Lord, my people have rejected me, 117 “Therefore make a decisive judgement between me and them, and rescue me and the believers along with me.” 118 We saved him and those who were with him in the laden ship, 119 Then We drowned the rest thereafter. 120 Verily, in this is indeed a sign, yet most of them are not believers. 121 And indeed your Lord, only He is the Almighty, the Most Merciful. 122

قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
