1/2 Hizb 44

۞ O men! It is you who stand in need of God -- God is self-sufficient, and praiseworthy -- 15 If He so pleased, He could blot you out and bring in a New Creation. 16 that is not difficult for God. 17 No one who carries a burden bears another's load; and even if the burdened soul cry out for help none will carry the least of its burden, however close a relative it may be. You can only warn those who fear their Lord in secret and fulfil their devotional obligations. Whoever grows in goodness does so for himself. To God is the journeying back. 18 Not equal are the blind and the seeing man, 19 nor are darkness and light. 20 Nor is the shadow equal with the sun's full heat; 21 nor are the living and the dead equal. Allah makes to hear whosoever He will, but you cannot make those who are in their graves hear. 22 thou art naught but a warner. 23 We have sent you in all truth as a bearer of glad news and a warner. No nation who lived before was left without a warner. 24 If they belie you, those before them also belied. Their Messengers came to them with clear signs; the Psalms, and the Illuminating Book. 25 Then I took hold of those who disbelieved, and how terrible was My denial (punishment)! 26
