And We delivered the Children of Israel from the shameful doom; 30 from Pharaoh who was most prominent among the prodigals. 31 And We chose them (the Children of Israel) above the 'Alamin (mankind, and jinns) [during the time of Musa (Moses)] with knowledge, 32 And We gave them portents wherein was a clear trial. 33 Verily, these (Quraish) people are saying: 34 "After we die, we shall never be raised to life again. 35 “Therefore bring back our forefathers, if you are truthful!” 36 Are they better, or the people of Tubba' and those before them whom We destroyed? They were surely sinners. 37 And We did not create the heavens and the earth and what is between them in sport. 38 We did not create them both but with the truth, but most of them do not know. 39 The Day of Decision is the appointed time for all. 40 The Day when no relation will avail a relation at all, nor will they be helped - 41 Save those on whom Allah will have mercy. Verily He! He is the Mighty, the Merciful. 42
