Whomsoever We grant a long life, We reverse him in his constitution. Do they still not understand? 68 And We have not taught him poetry, nor is it meet for him; it is nothing but a reminder and a plain Quran, 69 to the end that it may warn everyone who is alive [of heart,] and that the word [of God] may bear witness against all who deny the truth. 70 Have they not seen what We have created from the labor of Our own hands? We have given them cattle. 71 And We have subdued them unto them so that some of them they have for riding and some they eat. 72 They derive a variety of benefits and drinks from them. Will they, then, not give thanks? 73 And take other gods apart from God that they may perhaps give them help. 74 Instead, the disbelievers will be brought into the presence of God as the soldiers of the idols. 75 Let not their words grieve you. Surely We know all things about them, what they conceal and what they reveal. 76 Doth not man see that it is We Who created him from sperm? yet behold! he (stands forth) as an open adversary! 77 And he strikes out a likeness for Us and forgets his own creation. Says he: Who will give life to the bones when they are rotten? 78 Say: "He who created you the first time. He has knowledge of every creation, 79 He who produces fire for you from green trees and from this you kindle fire." 80 Is not He Who created the heavens and the earth able to create the like of them? Yea! and He is the Creator (of all), the Knower. 81 When He wills a thing, His command is to say to it 'Be', and it is! 82 Therefor Glory be to Him in Whose hand is the dominion over all things! Unto Him ye will be brought back. 83
