۞ Say thou: my bondmen who have committed extravagance against themselves despair not of the mercy of Allah; verily Allah will forgive the sins altogether. Verily He! He is the Forgiving, the Merciful. 53 And return to your Lord time after time and submit to Him before there comes to you the punishment, then you shall not be helped. 54 “And follow this, the best among all, which has been sent down towards you from your Lord, before the punishment comes suddenly upon you whilst you are unaware.” 55 So that no soul may say, “Alas! The failures that I committed regarding Allah – and indeed I used to mock!” 56 Or, "If only God had guided me, I would surely have joined the God-fearing." 57 "Or (lest) it should say when it (actually) sees the penalty: 'If only I had another chance, I should certainly be among those who do good!' 58 [But God will reply:] "Yea, indeed! My messages did come unto thee; but thou gavest them the lie, and wert filled with false pride, and wert among those who deny the truth!" 59 And on the Day of Judgment thou Shalt see those who lied against Allah - their faces blackened. Is not in Hell the abode of the stiff-necked? 60 But God will deliver them who feared Him to their place of salvation. No evil shall touch them, nor shall they grieve. 61 God is the Creator of every thing; He is Guardian over every thing; 62 To Him belong the keys of the heavens and the earth. And they who disbelieve in the verses of Allah - it is those who are the losers. 63
