Surely the fruit of the Zaqqum tree 43 The food of the sinner! 44 Like molten copper; it churns in their bellies. 45 like water. 46 Seize him, then drag him down into the middle of the hell; 47 Then pour over his head from the torment of scalding water." 48 Taste; you forsooth are the mighty, the honorable: 49 This is the very thing which you [deniers of the truth] were wont to call in question!" 50 The pious ones will be in a secure place 51 Within gardens and springs, 52 Wearing [garments of] fine silk and brocade, facing each other. 53 so it will be. We shall wed them to maidens with large, dark eyes. 54 They will call therein for every kind of fruit in security. 55 They will not experience any death other than that which they have already been through. 56 A bounty from thy Lord. That! that is the supreme achievement. 57 THUS, THEN, [O Prophet,] have We made this [divine writ] easy to understand, in thine own [human] tongue, so that men might take it to heart. 58 So wait thou and watch; for they (too) are waiting. 59
