Shattering (Al-Infitaar)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
۞ When the heaven splits open. 1 And the stars dispersed, 2 When the oceans begin to flow, 3 And when the graves are laid open, 4 every human being will [at last] comprehend, what he has sent ahead and what he has held back [in this world]. 5 O MAN! What is it that lures thee away from thy bountiful Sustainer, 6 who created thee and shaped thee and wrought thee in symmetry 7 Into whatsoever form He will, He casteth thee. 8 Nay, but ye deny the Judgment. 9 but you should know that there are angelic guards 10 Kind and honourable,- Writing down (your deeds): 11 who know what you do. 12 Lo! the righteous verily will be in delight. 13 and the evil-doers will be in hell 14 They will burn in it on the Day of Judgement, 15 to burn therein. 16 What will make you realize what the Day of Judgement will be? 17 Again, what will make you know what the Day of Recompense is? 18 The day on which no soul shall control anything for (another) soul; and the command on that day shall be entirely Allah's. 19
