The Bee (Al-nahl)
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful
۞ The Event (the Hour or the punishment of disbelievers and polytheists or the Islamic laws or commandments), ordained by Allah will come to pass, so seek not to hasten it. Glorified and Exalted be He above all that they associate as partners with Him. 1 He sendeth down the angels with the Spirit of His command unto whom He will of His bondmen, (saying): Warn mankind that there is no Allah save Me, so keep your duty unto Me. 2 He created the heavens and the earth with the truth; Supreme is He above their ascribing of partners (to Him). 3 He created the human being from a drop of fluid but the human being openly disputes His Word. 4 He created the cattle. They are a source of clothing and food and also a variety of other benefits for you. 5 and you find beauty in them when you drive them home in the evenings and when you take them out to pasture in the mornings. 6 They carry your burdens to lands so distant you could not have reached without much hardship. Indeed your Lord is compassionate and kind. 7 And [He created] the horses, mules and donkeys for you to ride and [as] adornment. And He creates that which you do not know. 8 And unto Allah leads straight the Way, but there are ways that turn aside: if Allah had willed, He could have guided all of you. 9
